The Daily Paper is a social app that prints like a newspaper. Your friends, your neighborhood, and the world each get a section, everything arrives in one edition every morning, and when you reach the end it says you are caught up. Then it is over, and you go live your day.
Inside the paper
No. 1
Front Page
The top of the paper: the day's lead articles, set first.
No. 2
Your Circle
Posts from your friends, and only your friends.
No. 3
The Neighborhood
Local news and first names from the people around you. Off unless you turn it on.
No. 4
The World
A short world section, read by an editor before it prints.
No. 5
The Fun Page
One light item to close the paper.
How posting works
One post a day
Write it raw, add one photo if you like, and pick its section. That is the whole composer.
The editor sets it
Your post comes back as a short article with a headline. The editor cleans, never invents, and nothing prints until you approve it, or you use your own words.
Notes print tomorrow
If a post moves someone, they write a Note. It prints in the next edition, signed with a first name.
The rules, in short
No likes. No counts. No streaks.
The house rules are enforced on a ladder: a first violation never prints and you hear from the editors, a second pauses your posting, and severe violations end the account on the first offense. The full list is in the Terms.
